Hand Eye Technologies, Inc., an interactive TV software company, enables mobile devices to interact and transact with digital content (such as TV shows, movies and online video) by expanding their capabilities. Through its patent-pending software – which can be installed on set-top boxes or easily downloaded to mobile phones via app stores - Hand Eye Technologies is leading the next wave of true interactivity between digital content and consumers.
Our core product, Hand Eye Interactive Technology (“HIT”), creates “HotSpots” on digital content that HIT-enabled mobile phones can detect and highlight automatically on the screen without disrupting the viewing experience. Interactivity includes automated content “push” to mobile when the viewer is watching, and proactive requests for information from consumers when clicking on an identified HotSpot with their phone. HIT can activate interactivity between digital content and consumers’ mobile phones worldwide.
In addition to interactive TV and media, Hand Eye Technologies’ software can also be applied to business applications such as: real-time collaboration applications; interactive white boards and meetings; and CAD for manufacturing and architecture.
Founded in 2008, Hand Eye Technologies, Inc. is based in San Francisco and is privately held. Its patent-pending software has been under development for three years. The company was recently accepted into DLA Piper Venture Pipeline and was selected to present at the prestigious conference for innovative startups, DEMO ’09 Fall.
